Hello I’m Aiden, I’m from Grande Prairie, Alberta. My home club is Wapiti Nordic. I’ve been skiing since I was 3 years old, when my parents threw me on skis. I began racing when I was 8 and never looked back. Last year I moved down to Calgary to pursue a degree in biology at the University of Calgary, while continuing to ski with Peak. My favourite place to ski is Canmore! I also enjoy xc running and exploring the mountains!

    Joshua Adames

Hi, I'm Josh! I was introduced to skiing at five years old and instantly fell in love with the sport. I got into competing with Foothills and have spent the past eight years racing with them. This year I'm excited for the opportunity to ski with Peak while also studying Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Besides skiing, I love playing soccer, collecting Hot Wheels, and I can speak three languages.

  • Amelia Custodio

    Amelia Custodio

    Foothills Nordic

I was first introduced to cross country skiing when I was only three years old. Although I couldn't ski uphills yet, my parents worked to foster a love of the sport, pulling me around on sunny days. What started as a hobby chasing the older kids down trails in Canmore soon turned into a passion for racing. I joined the Foothills Nordic Ski Club when I was five years old, and am proud to be racing for the Peak Nordiq Ski Team while pursuing my education. I have been lucky to have the opportunity to represent Alberta at the 2023 Canada Winter Games, and hope to continue representing my province at a national and international level. Outside of skiing, I am a science enthusiast and recently completed my first year majoring in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology at the University of Calgary. I spend my free time organizing events for the Girls Forward Foundation, camping with my family and mountain biking with my sisters.

In my meantime other than skiing, I pursue passions such as hiking, debate, and reading whatever I can get my hands on!
