Help us build a stronger and more sustainable Nordic community

Foothills Nordic is a non-profit, community-based ski club supported by the collective efforts of our members, volunteers, partners, sponsors and donors.

We are working to diversify our revenue so we can continue investing in great programs, facilities and community initiatives while reducing the pressure to fund everything through membership and program fees. There are many ways to support Foothills — from donations and workplace giving to fundraising events and sponsorship.

Every contribution helps us create more opportunities to ski, participate and belong.

Support Our Ski Club

2026-27 Fundraising Goal: $55,000

We are a non-profit ski club dedicated to providing urban trails and community-based skiing experiences in Calgary and beyond.

Funds raised help us invest in three key areas:

Programs & Coaching

Supporting high-quality programming, coaching, equipment and athlete development.

Confederation Park Trails

Supporting trail maintenance, access to skiing and reliable community ski trails.

Financial Assistance

Building resources to help reduce financial barriers to participation.

Maintaining these programs and facilities takes significant time, effort, and funding — and your support makes a real impact.

How to Donate

If you would like to support our efforts to promote nordic skiing, we gratefully accept donations in the following ways:

1. Tax-Receipted Donation via Nordiq Canada

If you would like a charitable tax receipt, you can donate through the Nordiq Canada portal: Donate to Foothills Nordic Ski Club via Nordiq Canada

2. E-Transfer

You can send donations via e-transfer to: accounting@foothillsnordic.ca

Make an Impact Through Club Sponsorship

Sponsorship offers the opportunity to directly support the areas that matter most to you. Choose general sponsorship, where the board allocates funding to the club’s greatest needs, or specify your focus—such as coaching, equipment, athlete recognition, or organizational sustainability. Both cash contributions and gifts-in-kind are greatly appreciated.
